Since it's such a personal project, I decided from the beginning that it should take on a life of its own and end when it was meant to end... But even though I'm no longer actively promoting or showcasing it... you're still there! Every week I receive new orders, your emails, and especially your kind words. Thank you so much.

About AI and photography 📸

Something that really caught my attention and made me think a lot about the last Christmas market where I was selling my photographs, was the number of people who approached me and asked me how I had given the orders to the artificial intelligence to put the landscape inside the crystal ball.

So many people assumed that they were made with AI or Photoshop that I had to put up a sign indicating that none of the photographs had been manipulated beyond contrast and colour exposure.

This hurt me in some way, not as an individual but as an artistic collective. I had done the last market in February, just a few months ago, and no one had ever asked me these things before.

I was upset. I think artificial intelligence allows us to create wonderful things, but the real value of my photographs (for me) is that the moment of the shot was real, it happened, it existed, I could smell it, feel it, see it and hear it just as it is in the photograph.

I guess we'll have to get used to it.... or not?

I was so tired when I finished the Christmas market that I haven't shared anything until now.

Here are some photos of the stall and I will soon share some of my colleagues as well.

I feel very fortunate and grateful for every item someone buys or words someone dedicates to me. Having someone want to invest their money into something you made yourself from scratch and shaped is an absolutely wonderful feeling that I can't even adequately describe as it's unlike any other.
I hope you all can experience this feeling at least once ❤️
