Amanda Jayne Photography Servicing Edinburgh and the surrounding areas I have been a photographer since 1999. I was one of the first women photographers of the area!

I originally started my business at Keswick in the Lake District which was located over our other shop at the time called Focus of Lakeland where we developed and printed films for the public. As time went by my business started to outgrow those premises so I moved the studio to Southey Street in Keswick where I remained for 2 years. I began to photograph weddings which kept me extremely busy (aro

und 40 per year!) alongside my Cherubs and portrait work. Outgrowing those premises, we made the move to Brigham near Cockermouth in 2001 where we remained until 2016 before moving to our current premises. I remember many a comment when photographing weddings as it was very much a male dominated profession at the time. I have since moved to Edinburgh. I photograph weddings, babies, toddlers, young children, teenagers, small family groups and pets. Sessions are available at a location of your choice or in your own home/garden.

Our Story

Based at Oughterside between Maryport and Aspatria. I am 15 minutes from Cockermouth, 12 minutes from Maryport and 25 minutes from Workington. Having photographed people since 1999, I specialise in babies, toddlers, young children, teenagers, small family groups and pets. The cost of a portrait sitting fee is £40 which includes a FREE 8” x 6” photograph. You buy just whatever you would like as there is no minimum spend and the prices start from £20 ranging up to special offer packages with the option to purchase all or some of your photo’s from your shoot on a USB.

I also offer a Tots to Toddlers package which captures your babies progress during their first 18 months. Watch them grow from lying, sitting to standing. £75 for all 3 photoshoots including a trio of photographs at the end - one from each photoshoot.
