+END OF AN ERA+

Actually, can 3 years be counted as an 'era'....? 🤣

So just like that, my time at Over Hailes has come to an end.

A huge THANK YOU to all the artists and creatives who have come through my door, I have always enjoyed hearing and learning where your creativity comes from!

Time for new beginnings in Auld Reekie, details of which will be revealed very soon. The art reproduction & helping you to achieve your art career goals will continue!

What does this mean for 'Art Photography - East Lothian'?

I'll be closing down the studio outside East Linton in due course, bringing the popular art reproduction service into these Leith premises under a new brand. It will be a shame to leave that wonderful view at Over Hailes but progress doesn't stop for anyone!

Does this mean no art reproduction in Ease Lothian at all?

I'm still dedicated to serving and promoting the arts in East Lothian and I'm in talks to hold monthly reproduction sessions at a central location if you can't make the trip into Leith. Watch this space!!

2025 Poldrate Exhibition on NOW!

It was an absolute pleasure to once again work with the members, capturing images of their incredible works in time for their annual exhibition.

Running all of this week at the historic Poldrate Granary building in Haddington, you will be stunned by the quality and variety of art works on display! From sculpture to jewellery, paintings to print-making, weaving and glass works, no two works are the same!

See the poster in the final frame for opening times. Entry is FREE but donations are gladly accepted.

What an amazing year of work!

It's been a great pleasure to be have been working with for the past year, helping her to create printable reproductions of her amazing textile works plus this stunning portrait in her flat in Edinburgh.

And it's all come together at her first solo show, 'Needle Pulling Threat', currently running at The Dundas Street Gallery, Edinburgh - open every day until the end of March 2025, be sure to check it out!

Some updated prices and information for 2025, including a new service for all you artists and creatives; long term data storage!

The last thing you want to happen is to misplace or delete your valuable art reproduction files so let me take on the responsibility from the tiny amount of £10 per year!

Upon subscribing, after every reproduction, I add your original data files and edited copies to my long term data server, which is securely and privately backed-up online. If in the future you cannot find a specific reproduction file, you can get in contact and I'll have the file(s) ready to send to you within a couple of days - easy as that!

+NEW 2025 DATES+ +NEW VENUES+

Very pleased to announce the next three dates for our 'Arty Chat' mornings, your monthly informal get-together for artists, crafters and all other creatives in-between...and we're on the move!

As much as we love the cuppas and the cakes (especially the cakes) at Smeaton Nursery Garden & Tearooms_nursery_gardens we're spreading our arty wings in 2025!

In January we will meet at the Poldrate Arts & Craft Centreartsandcraftscentre in Haddington, sipping and chatting on the top floor of The Mill, surrounded by the wares of the upholstery and basket weaving classes!

In February we'll be at our usual table at Smeaton Nursery Garden & Tearoomsdens because it wouldn't be the same without their Best Scones In East Lothians (not an official award but it should be!).

In March we will visit Lynxhead Art on Dunbar High Street, nestled amongst their art and print supplies, what a treat!

All meets are free to attend and no booking is required. Just bring some tea pennies (donations gratefully accepted at Poldrate and Lynxhead, with the normal service at Smeaton).

Can't wait to see you all there!
