I met this lady on a river cruse in china. we were on the Yangtze river three gorges Cruze. The day before she had asked me to take a picture of her and her mum at the front of the boat.

This day we happened to be standing together at the front of the boat getting buffeted by strong winds. She told me she had been there 25years before when the river was 100 metres lower before the damn had been build. Quite a different look to it today.

We passed a few mins chatting and I took some shots for her and then asked if I could take a couple of photos of her to which she agreed. A shared moment enjoying the crazy scenery and weather. I always find people the world over are really lovely, we are all just zipping along in our own space and not always reaching out.

I like people and enjoy capturing them with my camera. If you ever want an image taken or a moment in time recorded give me a shout.

A touch of Chinese Styling. So many Chinese people go to famous sites and dress up in traditional clothing. wonder if that is a trend that needs to start here in our fair city? Can you imagine a bunch of Highlanders running around the castle esplanade!!

Wouldn't that be fun!!

This shot was snapped in the Forbidden City, Bejing. I snapped a shot of these two before I asked them for a shot which I kinda like as well. I'll post it in the comments so you can see a more candid shot.

Katie in a chair in an ancient garden that has seen better days but with the sunlight filtering through the leaves I think it gives a really mellow feeling 😍
