Val Miranda Photography Award-winning and exhibited landscape photographer capturing authentic, lesser-known scenes from Scotland and beyond. Ramble on! valmirandaphotography.com

Part of the Edinburgh Photographic Society and loving sharing my love for art. Inviting you to find calm and wonder in nature. 📷 I’m Val Miranda, an award-winning landscape photographer based in Scotland.

🌅 My journey began with a love for the wild beauty of the outdoors. Capturing the shifting light over a misty loch or the hush of a remote glen in a way that takes you there with me is what sets my photography apart.

🏞️ With formal training and a seat on the Council of the Edinburgh Photographic Society, I blend technical skill with a passion for uncovering hidden corners shaped by water and light. My camera is my way of honouring nature, seeking the extraordinary in the everyday.

🌿 Through my work, I aim to inspire you to pause and find your own sense of wonder in the world around you. Each photograph is a discovery, a moment of awe that I hope will spark your own sense of exploration.

🖼️ Explore my gallery and discover nature’s quiet beauty through my lens.

Today marks the first official day of fall, the season of changing leaves, cozy evenings, and a fresh rhythm at home.

"Sentinels Of The Path" is worth a second look now that the season's changing and the nesting season begins.

What are you looking forward to this fall?

The best art doesn't just decorate a room; it anchors a memory to it.

Years from now, "In The Heart Of Winter" might be less about the wall it hangs on and more about the season of life it marked.

Art does that job better than anything else we display in our homes.

You don't need an art history degree to build a meaningful collection or to know what you like.

You need a wall, a little patience, and a willingness to trust what pulls you in.

"Fishing Port" is a good place to start, as is my online gallery.
