A short timelapse of a recent painting — a sunset sky over distant blue mountains.

This piece came together slowly, in layers, and has a real sense of calm to it.

I’ve had a small run of prints made, and I’m gently exploring the idea of offering them more widely. For now, I just wanted to share the finished work and the process behind it. 🎨

Last week I created a set of images for Thai Boxer and Personal Trainer Tom at Lean On Me Personal Training He needed images to show some of the disciplines in his fitness work. I used carefully placed lighting to show and define his well-earned muscle tone and to add a little drama 😉 Tom works with women to help them get in shape with combined programs of fitness and nutrition. Proud to see images from my photoshoot with singer and BBC TV music judge, Mr Fabulous, aka Jay Kamiraz, featured in Integrity Magazine this week! I love the Old Hollywood / silent movie vibe that we achieved this in the photoshoot. And LOVE that Jay has overlaid the voice of Horst in this post. Horst is one of my favourite photographers of elegance and style from the early 20th century, and my inspiration for this shoot. I will be sharing more photos from his shoot soon.
