Here's my results from today's Partial Solar eclipse (Timelapse in the comments).

I had some tracking issues, likely due to the Equatorial Wedge that I have my DWARF LAB Dwarf 3 mounted on. I should have adjusted the wedge back to 0° really, but I managed to solve some of that drift in post processing.

This is the first Solar Eclipse I have imaged properly and I am so thankful for the clever little telescope.

The Timelapse video: edited in Lightroom for colour corrections & Capcut to correct the drift and stabilisation.

Getting a slight obsession with the big white round thing in the sky. Tonight's Beaver Supermoon!

The clouds parting gave me another hour outside thankfully! I am in love with my Dwarf 3!

Finally got an hour or so of a near clear sky... First light for my DWARF LAB Dwarf 3 and I am over the Moon with it ('Scuse the pun 😂)

I did get to Andromeda, but only as a quick test run, need a Moonless night for that one, so its in planning!!

Say Hi to Comet A3 - C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS)

This is only the 2nd Comet I have seen, the first being Hale Bopp in 1997 and the 1st image I ever got of a Comet!

I didn't have time to get my main rig out so these 2 images are just a one shot exposures (DNG Raw file), not stacked. I was also fighting 2 street lights either side of the area of sky, passing buses every 10 mins, and the headlights from every car in my town (at least it felt like every car lol), but I got it!!

It's amazing what modern Phones can do nowadays. There are 2 images here, the 2nd one is constrained to 2048px wide to fight against FB downgrading the image, the first being 3000 x 4000px.

Basic edits in Lightroom iPad (Going to pump this into my PC softwares at some point as I have over 70 images to potentially stack and get rid of the jpeg artifacts and gradient)

I started my Astrophotography journey back in 2011. Until then, I had just viewed the night sky.

My first camera was a Bridging Camera, a lowly Fuji Finepix s1500. It couldnt be mounted to my telescope as it didn't have a removable lens, but I didn't put me off trying to capture my favourite constellation, Orion The Hunter.

The 2011 image was taken only with the Fuji... with probably around 30 light frames, and a handful of darks If memory serves, this was stacked with Registax and edited in Photoshop CS2.

In contrast, the 2022 image was taken with my now Canon 500D (unmodded), Tamron 70-300mm lens, and a Skywatcher Star Adventurer 2i Pro, with around 50 light frames, 25 Darks, Lights and Bias frames, Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Edited in Photoshop CC, finished in Lightroom CC.

I have come a bit of a way forward.

My next aim for this beautiful constellation, is the Great Nebula itself. I will be targeting that from the Autumn with my Skywatcher Evostar 72ED.

7 out of 881 images from Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow on Saturday 20th August.

The gorgeous RAF Typhoon Display Team, my all time Favourite Jet!!

I had an awful time getting these images off my SD Card. The card decided to corrupt it's file system, so I had to recover what I could and sadly, the RAW files werent usable. I did however manage to save the JPG info from all the images, so it wasn't a total loss thankfully... still the quality isnt what it would have been.
