Finally got myself back out with the camera after what felt like a forever break 😃, I had been for a wander a few nights prior to this and had a very brief encounter with the owl in near darkness, so with the rainfall we have had over the last few days I thought it would be a good opportunity to give it a go. To say he didn't disappoint would be an understatement, got many images on the card as it quartered the field nearly wiping my lens out in the process completely unaware of my presence. Wildlife photography at its best 😁📸

What an evening this was to wrap up the badger project I've been watching for the past few years at a few different locations. This one loved a pose and didn't want to leave so i laid patiently waiting for it to venture off on its usual hunt and i headed off home with a big smile on my face. On to the next project 😃

Great to be back out with the camera, after what has felt like lifetime due to other commitments. I wanted to try something different last night, by getting a backlit image which proved difficult. I did manage to capture these images before the badgers headed back to there home for the night.
