Revisiting a rather large collection of images taken in Gran Canaria several years back on a road trip. From abstract to classic landscape to something just a little different. I am testing out all the different tools and processes in Adobe Lightroom seeing what works, what doesn't, what does the changing colour grading make to the feel of an image. Here is just the start of a little bit of everything captured in that trip using my trusty travel buddy Fuji X-T3 with a 16-55mm F2.8 as an all rounder.

Last Weekend I travelled up to Birmingham NEC for this year's Photography & Video Show. An exhibition I aim to visit every year, immersing myself in the world of photography. Seeing what art and content people are creating. Learning new tips and techniques in editing software. Understanding different genres and how I can incorporate this into my own practice. Meeting new people, and seeing old friends. Testing the new cameras and accessories. Checking out album and wall art suppliers, making the contacts to provide the best quality products for my clients. If any of the art work or albums appeal to you, I will happily create for you even if the original photos were not mine.

This is not all of the talks that I went to, just a quick highlight, from studio dog portraits to landscape photography and motorsports, I spent hours listening and looking at the work of fantastic artists from the UK to USA and even Australia! A workshop from may have been the highlight of the weekend.

Somehow I walked away without spending anything, but I have 2 new accessories I have my eye on, one practical one is just awesome and fun that I might buy it sooner than later.

Ever wondered why some photographers share every photo, while others post only a select few? There are several reasons behind how and why photographers choose the images they share on social media, online, or in print.

One of the biggest factors is permission. From self-conscious couples to those with workplace or privacy restrictions, a professional photographer should always give clients the option to opt out of having their images shared. Some couples choose to limit usage to certain situations, allow only photos of the couple, or request that images of children not be shared at all.

Another important reason is respect. A wedding day is deeply personal and intimate, and sometimes it feels right to keep those moments private. Not every beautiful image needs to be public—some memories are meant to be treasured only by the couple and their families.

Brighton Beach is always a beautiful spot for a few post ceremony photographs. Even just 5minutes and you can get multiple moments to treasure on the beach front with views of the beach, west pier & i360. Even cloudy its a lovely view
