You know the kind of a day in the UK !Rain, sun, rain, hail, thunder, blue skies, wind and rain, black skies….
And so the day went on !😳
Any other shoot I would probably have postponed as the forecast kept changing and was just getting worse. I like to give my clients a great experience, not a wash out where we have to depart after a couple of ages and try and plan again. But half of this gorgeous family were emigrating the next day so it really was….
NOW OR NEVER
They so wanted to have Bentley ( black Lab) in some together shots with Dad and son before he left as he was getting on ( Bentley that is 🙃) so we decided to risk it and sure enough after a couple of shots it turned into Wizard of Oz type weather and we prepared for home but not quite….
Brollies went up, jumpers on. I was soaked to the bone trying to set up an edge of woodland shot before we all got back in the car. Then, as if the heavens were watching us, it actually did clear and we had a full hour to shoot before everything finally closed in.
Thanks to my clients for smiling through this. We got there in the end and I hope to show you some beautiful images imminently !!
It was definitely all worth it.
If you are waiting on image viewings - thanks for your patience. I’m super super busy with shoots and have a bit of a backlog but am working steadily through in order of our time together.
