This is one of my favourite shots from a selection of photos taken at our recent trip to Castle Combe village. It's known as the Prettiest Village in England. The village houses are all typical of Cotswold type and made from beautiful honey coloured Cotswold stone. All properties in the village are hundreds of years old and are listed as ancient monuments.

Another shot of Glenfinnan Viaduct from our Scotland trip couple of years ago. This shot was taken on our second trip to this spot. We couldn't see the Jacobite Stream Train on the first trip. Before making the trip second time, we made sure we knew exactly when the train was going to pass that day. I put the camera on continuous shooting as the train appeared on the scene. I took about 25 shots and this was one of two best shots from the set :-)

Sunset shot taken when hiking down from Buffavento Castle. This is part of Kyrenia mountains that sprung along in the North of the island. Path and steps rise steeply towards the ruins and needs a bit of hard climbing, but reveals impressive views across the whole island.

Otherwise known as the "Jewel of Cyprus", the Kyrenia harbour and it's castle is said to be founded in the 10th century BC.
The harbour is surrounded by restaurants and bars that have been developed from buildings that were once Venetian dwellings.
