One of my favourite parts of being a photographer is preserving moments like these for your family……and how lucky I am to do the same for my own 🥹🎓

These milestones come around so quickly. One minute they’re wrapping their little fingers around yours, and before you know it they’re wearing a graduation cap, ready for their next adventure.

As a mum, I know how much these moments mean. As a photographer, I know just how priceless they’ll become in years to come.

This is exactly why I do what I do, because childhood is full of “lasts” just as much as “firsts”, and every one of them deserves to be remembered.

If you’ve got a little one reaching a milestone this year, birthday, or otherwise, don’t wait for the “perfect” time to book the photos. These moments have a way of becoming memories before we even realise it. 🤍

School’s out for summer! 💙

Scrolling back to my Theo’s first day at preschool feels like yesterday… and now we’ve celebrated his last day of preschool and Henry finishing Year 1 today.

These two had just one precious term together at preschool before Henry moved on. Now, after all the growing, learning, and countless memories, they’ll soon start their next adventure together in September, when they’ll both be walking to school side by side. 🥹

So proud of my boys 🥰 Here’s to new beginnings, big adventures, and making even more memories together……and a fabulous 6 week break 🥰❤️✨

I will be slower to reply to emails and messages than usual as I juggle my business and children - but I am still here for all of your enquiries and currently booking until the end of the year 📷

This week, our youngest had his stay-and-play at school.

In September, he’ll put on his uniform for the very first time, and our eldest will be walking into Year 2.

How did that happen?

It honestly feels like they were babies five minutes ago.

Looking back through these photos has reminded me that the days can feel long, but the years really do fly by. One minute you’re rocking them to sleep, and the next they’re going into school waving you goodbye.

Photographs are my most treasured possessions. Not because they’re perfect, but because they take me straight back to those tiny hands, sleepy cuddles, belly laughs and all the little moments I never realised I’d miss so much.

This morning was very special.

I visit Little Stars regularly with travel sets and get to meet so many lovely families to photograph, but today I came with my youngest little lad for his last time as he starts school in September.

This group has always been close to my heart as it was one of the first places I ventured with my toddler and my baby in arms. I’ll never forget the welcome and kindness when I found it hard to leave the house and go anywhere with post natal depression.

My boys are now 6 and 4, and whilst those days feel a long time ago, they also still feel like yesterday, and I hold such special memories of coming along and being welcomed by the lovely G and all of the wonderful team.

Thank you to everyone who had photos with me today, and who came to say hello ❤️

The most beautiful half term with my little family ❤️

A week of making memories, enjoying slower days, and spending precious time with my gorgeous boys. Feeling incredibly grateful for these moments together and the memories we’ve made.

Today has been straight back into work and I’ve hit the ground running! My diary is filling up quickly and I’m currently booking into October, so if you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, capturing a special milestone, or booking a session, please do get in touch sooner rather than later.

I’ve had to turn away a few lovely families recently because I was fully booked, and I honestly hate having to do that, so I’d love to get you booked in before the diary fills up.

For now, I’m holding onto all the lovely memories from half term while getting back behind the camera doing what I love 📸❤️

One year of tiny hands reaching up for you, belly laughs filling the house, sleepy cuddles after long days, and watching your little boy become his own little person.
The first birthday feels like more than a celebration… it’s a milestone for parents too. You survived the sleepless nights, the first fevers, the first steps, and all the beautiful chaos in between. 💛
