This is Jessie our 5 month old Golden Retriever! At the weekend I dusted off the camera and headed over to the Peak District for a walk. I'm glad I managed to get to see the heather before it completely died off.

It felt good to be out with the camera again. Hopefully it's not too long before I get back out again!

Can't believe I haven't been back here with my camera since taking this photo... I need to stop being lazy!

Just stumbled across this shot from last years bluebells in Millisons Wood. I'm looking forward to getting some better bluebell shots this year.

Corfe Ruins

Here is a shot from my latest trip to Dorset, this time the ruins of Corfe Castle. On the Sunday we decided to have a chilled out day and go for a walk inside the Castle grounds. On our way around, the sun bursting through the ruined castle edge caught my eye and I thought it would make an interesting black & white image.

Thanks for looking.

5 minutes away from my hotel, it would be rude not too. Just need some sunshine now 😊

Sunrise at Corfe Castle

Whilst I was in Dorset last weekend I visited Corfe Castle, which was just less than 2 minutes away from our B&B. The location is beautiful. I tried to get a shot of Corfe Castle a few times over the weekend, as I was hoping to get some misty conditions. Although the forecast on both days looked so promising, unfortunately the mist was not as prevalent as I had hoped, however I did get a pretty nice sunrise.

The Golden Door.

Last week I was in Corfe, Dorset for a birthday break away. The weather all weekend was brilliant. I managed to get plenty of photography in and on the Sunday evening I headed over to Durdle Door for sunset. The light was great and there were a few clouds around to catch some colour. I decided to use my Lee big stopper, which gave the water a nice silky effect and the clouds a bit of motion blur.

Thanks for looking.

Good Morning

A few weeks back I finally got myself back over to the Peak District and headed up Bamford Edge. The last time I was here was a year ago! where does time go?! I was hoping to get to see the Heather in all its glory but that wasn't the case unfortunalty. It was still a fantastic evening to be out and the sunset was a pretty decent one too. I was hoping to get back to the Peaks now the heather is fully out but I just dont have time at the minute, I'm in the process of landscaping my back garden at the minute so this will be taking up my weekends for a few weeks. :(

I need to get back there sooner rather than later though!

Morning!

Going back a few years with this photo. It's a shot of Snowdon that I have re-processed because when I was looking back at the original image I wasn't very happy with it.

I think we set off at like 3 am for the drive from Derbyshire to Snowdonia for Sunrise that day. It was a very cold morning but it was definitely worth it and one to remember!

Thanks for looking.

P.s. I am nearly finished uploading everything back on to Flickr, after my mess up of deleting my whole image catalogue.. ooops! So, high resolution links to all images will be back soon too :)
