Now struggling with my knees but still available for certain gigs however large weddings are now a big no no!

I can do without the hassle that todays weddings present whilst you try to do your work unhindered by the guests on top of the reason above.

I've done 40 years of them. I used to love shooting them too, so sad. I will however consider smaller intimate weddings.

Two videos from Hett which lets you see 60103 at an earlier date hauling its train up the gradient working un-assisted as usual. Compare that to the 2nd video of the virtually dead Stanier at the same spot not hauling. We wuz robbed and so were the people on it who paid to be hauled by steam not shoved by a diesel. IMO.

11th Sept 2016. From my favorite location in my area, Hett curves Croxdale. Saturday with 46233 and Sunday 60103. Notice on the return leg on Saturday that the Duchess is devoid of any effort whatsoever into hauling its train on this, the steepest gradient on the ECML. Why? Because the Class 57 stuck on the back was doing all the work, not even a beat from the Staniers exhaust. Robbed we were including those who paid to be on it. Payed to be hauled by steam not shoved by dismal,,,,sorry I mean diesel.

Two for the price of one. 60103 on the southbound Waverley effortlessly climbing the severe incline on Hett curves to be followed in the opposite direction by the down 91001 "Flying Scotsman" within seconds of the A3 going out of sight. The 91 was already running late so if it had only of been a few more seconds behind. Oh well!

Today at about 12.45, 60103 coasts downgrade on the Hett curves, Croxdale.

RAF Leeming today in awful weather, infact it was pi**in doon. This is the USAF A10 Thunderbolt, a deadly and brutal ground attack warplane and I've been wanting to photograph it for years, a rarity in our area but today I got my images of this sinister looking beast, not the best but good enough.
