Do you live around the hilltop villages around Tow Law and Sunniside? Got a cup with a story? Come and join Louise for a brew!

CommuniTea is coming to Tow Law and Sunniside this autumn.

The idea began with Louise's mum’s collection of inherited china teacups. Some have been passed down through generations, each holding memories of people, places and moments in time. It got us thinking about the stories our everyday objects hold — and how a simple cup of tea can bring us together.

We'd love you to come along with your favourite mug, teacup or piece of inherited china for a cuppa and a chat. Louise will photograph your cup and record its story as part of a growing collection of photographs and stories celebrating the local community.

Perhaps your cup has been passed down through your family, bought on a special day, or is simply the one you reach for every morning. Every cup has a story — and we'd love to hear yours!

No artistic experience needed, and you can share as much or as little as you like. Just bring your cup and yourself. Tea and biscuits are on us!

Louise's Kickstarter for ARCHIVING DAD is sitting at 86% funded with only THREE days left.

The campaign closes 5:15pm on Saturday 10th October

Kickstarter is all or nothing so she needs to reach the full target for these books to become a reality.

Remembering our Agri[culture] project. In 2018 Wideyed made work that celebrated the agricultural shows in the North Pennines. This weekend is Wolsingham Show , Englands oldest. Our self published book is available on our website.
