Photo of the Day

Knysna, South Africa
One of the first opportunities I?ve had to really practise my photography was at a family friend?s garage while on holiday in Knysna (South Africa), home to an incredible collection of classic and interesting cars.
With no pressure and plenty of time to experiment, it was the perfect place to start learning, and with such a diverse collection, there was certainly no shortage of cars to photograph.
This Ford GT40 caught my eye in particular. I?m still very much learning my way around the camera, but I really enjoyed experimenting with the angles, details and lighting to try to capture what makes these cars so special.
For me, photography is very much about the journey, learning, experimenting and hopefully getting a little better with every shot.
