One of the photo assignments I had over 60 years ago was to photograph Blue Streak. This was the UK answer to space travel. It never got off the ground sadly. I was working for The Welwyn Times and the rocket was made by De Havilland at Hatfield. It was being boxed up to be taken to Australia for launching. Bill Bowman [email protected]
