They say when you find something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life… and this shoot reminded me of that. To even call this “work” feels wrong… we just had so much fun on this day!

After this wild photoshoot in Glencoe, we were heading back to the van/car and stood in the rain chatting… we could have chatted all evening so decided why not find somewhere cozier to spend the evening!

We headed to the Real Food Café in Tyndrum where I introduced them to the holy trinity of Scottish cuisine: haggis, black pudding, and IRN BRU! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My favorite part of this job is connecting with amazing people from around the world who genuinely appreciate Scotland’s beauty and culture. C&C, it was an absolute pleasure - until our paths cross again! ♥️

If you’ve ever dreamed of an elopement that feels like one big adventure — this is it.

S&R’s day took them from ancient standing stones to wild coastlines, and finally to a boat trip where dolphins decided to join the celebration.

It was about living their favourite kind of day — exploring, laughing, and soaking in every little moment together (and yes, Edgar the whippet came too).

When your day feels like you in every single detail — that’s when the magic happens ✨
For S&R, eloping on the Isle of Mull meant weaving together everything they love: exploring wild landscapes, visiting historic sites, bringing along their sweet dog Edgar, and taking time to simply be together.

From the standing stones of Lochbuie to the dolphins leaping beside their boat that evening, every part of their day felt intentional — joyful, grounded, and free.

The kind of day you look back on and think, “That was us. Completely.”

These four brought the best kind of chaos — giggles, cuddles, and pure joy. their eldest twirling in the wind, and the wee one zooming around like one of his tractors, and two parents absolutely soaking in every second of this Scottish adventure. The April colours were magic, and so was their energy.
Families like this remind me exactly why I do what I do — capturing what it feels like to be together. Wild, free, and full of love.

Looking back on this day with H&T, I can’t help but smile at how perfectly it reflected who they are together. From the first moment I spoke with them, it was clear their relationship is built on something really special — that rare mix of deep friendship, genuine care, and so much laughter. The kind of connection where you just know they make each other better.

They planned this adventure not because they wanted an epic backdrop (although Scotland delivered that in spades!) — but because they wanted a day that was truly about them. No expectations, no pressure, just the two of them, soaking up every moment together. From saying their vows at the Old Man of Storr, to sharing Irn Bru from a quaich, to picnicking by a river, to watching the sun set at Eilean Donan Castle — every part of the day felt intentional and full of meaning.

It’s the kind of day that stays with you. A reminder that when you do it your way, surrounded by love and laughter, that’s when the real magic happens.

R&T first visited Glencoe years ago on their first trip to Scotland, and everyone thought they’d eloped then. So when they finally did, it felt like the most perfect full-circle moment. A day built entirely around them — no fuss, no pressure, just love and a little Scottish magic 🌱🏔

One of my favourite parts of any elopement is the quiet at the end of the day — that moment when everything slows down and it’s just the two of you, taking it all in. I always make space for that. It’s never about rushing from one spot to the next to chase photos, even though the adventure can be fun too. It’s about letting you breathe, feel, and really be there together. Those in-between moments — when it sinks in what you’ve just done — are often the ones that end up meaning the most.

Solo trip to Scotland? Forest fairy vibes? Running through the hills? Say no more — Makenna and I were destined to get on. I know how hard it can be to get photos when you’re solo travelling, so being able to do this for her meant so much. We laughed the whole day and even ended up going for dinner together — instant friends.

With the weather snowy and wild in the highlands, it won’t be long until we have days like this again!!!!

When C&R first reached out, their vision was clear — a day that felt like them. After five years together and a surprise proposal on the dunes of C favorite Danish beach, these two were ready to start their next adventure in the Scottish Highlands. R, a native Scot, and C, who fell in love with Scotland four years ago, chose Glencoe for their intimate elopement with 17 guests. What I loved most? Their relationship is calm, reassuring, and so incredibly solid.

I think what I loved most about J&D’s wedding day was how unforced it felt. They’ve been together eight years and you can tell they’ve built something solid. Best friends. Deep trust. The kind of love that is solid.
