Not every baby is a super sleepy baby, and that’s absolutely okay. Some babies will snooze their way through their entire session, while others want to look around, stretch their little legs and make sure they don’t miss a thing! 😂

And honestly? We just work with what baby is giving us. 🤍

There’s never any stress or pressure to make your baby sleep. We take our time, follow their cues and capture all those gorgeous little expressions, tiny details and wide-awake moments too.

There really is no better compliment as a newborn photographer than when a family comes back to me with their next little baby.

Getting to photograph your first baby is incredibly special… but when I see your name pop up again and realise you’re coming back with baby number two, my heart honestly does a little happy dance.

I just love seeing your family grow. I remember your first baby so tiny, and now here we are again with another little bundle to cuddle, photograph and capture all those precious details that change far too quickly.

It’s not just about photographing your new baby, it’s about continuing your story.

The sleepy cuddles, the tiny finger, the little rolls and newborn stretches. Now also watching your little one become a big brother or sister.

Being trusted to capture these moments is something I’ll never take for granted.

As a twin mum it’s is so incredibly special photographing twins in those first precious days — two tiny personalities, two beautiful souls, and a bond that has already begun.

Such a big milestone and the beginning of an exciting new adventure. I hope your first day is filled with smiles, new friends, lots of fun and happy memories.

To all the parents- good luck to you too! It’s a big day for you as well- watching your little ones take their first steps into school can be a very emotional moment. I remember it well.
Take lots of photos, soak it all in and try not to cry too much.

When should you book your newborn photography session?

The best time to book your newborn session is while you're still pregnant.
Most parents reserve their session during their second or third trimester to ensure availability around their due date.

I only take a limited number of newborn bookings each month, allowing me to keep space available for babies who arrive early or late.

Don't worry if you don't know exactly when your baby will arrive – your due date is all I need. Once your little one is here, we'll arrange the perfect session date, ideally within the first 2 weeks of life while they're still wonderfully sleepy and curled up. However after this is also great so dont worry if you and baby need more recovery time, roll just get some wonderful awake shots as well as sleepy ones.

If your baby has already arrived, it's always worth getting in touch too. Last minute availability does occasionally become available.

Those tiny fingers, squishy cheeks, and sleepy cuddles change so quickly. Booking ahead means you won't miss the chance to capture these precious early days forever. 🤍
