What a privilege it was to be invited to Brendan's book launch.

Family, friends, fellow authors, and supporters gathered at The Criterion Bar for the launch event—a venue that holds special significance, although you'll need to read the book to discover why!

Brendan approached me some time ago about creating photographs for the book. Together, we combined his vision and ideas with my photography skills, and I'm delighted with what we achieved.

This is a heartfelt and honest story of growing up in North Belfast and later serving the community as a Paramedic for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service both in the area where Brendan was raised and further afield.

This is a book that deserves to be read. From Brendan's childhood in Belfast to his experiences during some of the darkest days of what we know as 'The Troubles', he tells his story with honesty, courage, and authenticity.
