Weddings dont start at 10am on the wedding day when we roll up in shorts and t shirts, Costa coffee in one hand and a camera in the other. The journey with us starts wekks, months or sometimes years before that.
From when you first discover us, were here for the questions, chats over coffee, random 1am messages with thoughts or inspo ideas. We meet prior to booking with us, either virtually, or in our own studio on the comfort of the couch.
We then book in the final chat to go through all the details. The wheres, the whens, your ideas, our thoughts and the finer details on how to deliver the day you dreamed of.
The preparations continue right up to the night before, the 10 bay usb charger flat out charging gimbles, light batteries, other light batteries flash batteries, drone, controllers, microphones, dozens of camera batteries and the list goes on.
Clearing the memory cards and the hard drives, packing the photobooth, the props, the lights for it, ligh stands for jodie for first dance, light stands for Simon for video lights, different light stands for the photobooth, the prep lighting,
Then a meticulous bag packing. In order, build up the video cameras, find the tripod mounts, the tripods checking everything twice to be sure.
Its never just grab a camera and go, its 5 cameras minimum, a selection of lenses for every eventuality, do I want to stand close like a wierdo on a short lens, or hide in the bushes like a wierdo with a super long lens, the possibilities are endless 😀 anyway, but thats thats just us and as we write this, we have another videographer working with us tommorow, at home going through the same thing with his own camera bag 😀.
Tommorow the team assembles to make memories. For us, for the couples celebrating falling in love. Full day 2 photographers
