For couples travelling to Scotland for a destination elopement, this Loch is ideal.

The Trossachs National Park is often overlooked, yet it remains my absolute favourite area for wild weddings. You get the breathtaking Munros, lush green scenery, and quiet lochs, but without the endless hours of driving.

Loch Venachar is a really special place for me. Living nearby, it has become my go-to spot whenever I need to recharge. For couples travelling to Scotland for a destination elopement, it's ideal. It keeps travel easy and affordable while giving you that authentic, wild Highland feeling.

There is something extraordinary about hearing the bagpipes echoing across the loch; the haunting sound completely grounds you in the landscape. It feels like taking a step back in time.

This Wedding Gallery Made me Cry

Honestly, Natalia and Ian are so in love I was getting emotional editing their special day.

You could just see there is a level of deep connection and understanding between them, a way of loving each other truthfully and wholeheartedly that I couldn’t help capturing.

And their families were so sweet, just that perfect combination of Scottish friendliness and Italian sociability.

I loved working with them and I hope I will do it again, for a family photo shoot, a pet portrait, or anything else!!

A little teaser of a creative portrait photoshoot we and worked on together yesterday…

It all started when I walked in the Glasgow Gallery of Photography, where Sky works.

Sky noticed my medieval- inspired outfit, and asked me to take some photos. It turns out we are both fantasy readers and love art.

I was so sold to her vision and had lots of fun posing for her. And for the first time ever, I was the model!!

I ended up swimming my my floaty dress in a fantastic natural pool… I am looking forward to seeing the final result 😍😍😍

Three wedding locations in Stirlingshire, Scotland

What’s up guys? So these are three of my favourite wedding or elopement venues just around Stirling and Perth, and they are quite different in terms of options for indoor or outdoor weddings, accommodation, and food.
1. fantastic views on Loch Venachar, options for outdoors ceremony, internal room where lots of natural light pours in from large windows. Decent internal space for mid size wedding.
2. the most varied, ranging from historical house to orangery to yurt glamping and a newly converted truck, with options for weddings of all sizes.
And, the staff is lovely!!
3. Lake of Menteith: great for outdoor ceremonies in nearby forests, self catering lodges at and perfect for history geeks thanks to Wedding Photo opportunities at Inchmahome Island and delicious pub food at

A little sneak peek into the Natalia and Ian’s wedding gallery. They decided for an intimate Italian-Scottish wedding at Orocco Pier, and they couldn’t have hoped for a better day.

The sun was shining on the famous Forth Bridge, and the atmosphere was full of that cheerfulness and desire for partying typical of both Italians and Scottish.
