As the teams changed over all was to be played for. Colin Kniveton umpired for the game with support for opposite ends/square.
A good crowd supported and a few photos are included.
Down to the last few balls of the last over and the final second innings score 128 to close the game on a draw.
Thanks to the chefs on the BBQ and ladies in the Clair Gelling pavillion.
Colin Kniveton gave a speech and showed his appreciation to the organisers and his family for arranging a very successful afternoon. After the presentation of the Barbara Kniveton Memorial Cup by David Creer to the Captains Kevin Quine and Kevin Kniveton the BBQ and cakes were enjoyed by all.

What a great afternoon spent at Crosby Cricket Ground this afternoon. The match between the Crosby Cricket stalwards v Crosby Cricket youngsters playing for the Barbara Kniveton Memorial Cup.
Thankfully the weather held for the duration and two innings were played in lovely sunshine.
Some big hitters with a number of fours and a few sixes. Bowlers and keepers, fielders and batsmen were all out for a win for their team. Awesome commentary on the mike and sound effects to bring an extra dimension to the game.
At the end of the first 20 overs a score of 128 was the score to beat.

Please please do not use footpaths which cross farmers ground. Plenty of lovely Glens, beaches and areas to explore. Farmers are continuing to work through Covid restrictions to provide local produce for you.

If you are out exercising in the countryside please do your bit at this very busy time of year when many farmers will be lambing and calving 😀👩‍🌾🐑🐄🚜
