‘Mitchoorys’ (Manx for mischief)

Pink Seaweed’s exhibition at the Hodgson Loom Gallery, Laxey opens on 23rd May. Great mixture of Isle of Man based artists on display.

These are the three images that I’ll be showing. ‘Resting Mermaid’ a juvenile grey seal, ‘Cabbyl Ushtey’ the mythical water horse of Manx mythology, and ‘The Duel’ two fighting guillemots.

I may be biased (for some reason 🤔😆) but this has all the makings of being a great exhibition

We’ve been planning this for ages and it’s going to be amazing.

A selection of Pink Seaweed artists, all in one space…. that isn’t Pink Seaweed.

Curated by the genius that is , who knows exactly how to place our mix of styles side by side in her space at .

It’s not going to be neat. It’s Pink Seaweed vibes, just with a little more space to breathe.

Really excited to announce that I’m involved in this forthcoming Pink Seaweed Gallery exhibition at the Hodgson Loom Gallery in Laxey. I’ll be exhibiting two of my personal favourite images and for a change they’re not waves though they are ‘water related’. Mmm…wonder what they can be…🤔

Smaller avalanche in Flåm today but love the thunder effect it created

The local fjord cruise couldn’t dock at Gudevangen today due to high avalanche risk warnings. Turns out they were right

My last video generated quite a bit of interest (1.5 million views to date 😳) which caught me off guard as it wasn’t a particularly strong gale. Laxey Harbour can produce massive waves on the rare occasions that the conditions come together just right. This photo was taken during a storm in 2018. I love the way it looks like a horses head in the spray. The last gale had the makings of producing similar waves but only resulted in ‘Shetland Ponies’ 🤨😂
