Recently, we provided communications for the support team behind The Sidemen, as they took on a challenge around Kent.

Festival support in action. 🎷🛡️

Today the Specialist SRT team have been busy preparing for Sidmouth International Jazz & Blues Festival 2026, collecting radios and getting everything ready to support a safe, smooth and well-coordinated event.

We’re grateful to be working in partnership with JPS Communications – Two-Way Radio Specialists, and thankful for meeting our request and supporting us with the equipment needed for festival operations.

From planning to communication, every detail matters when it comes to keeping events safe.

We’re really looking forward to seeing you all there for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of music, atmosphere and community.

WE ARE HIRING!!!

We are looking for a Trainee General Manager to join us (Three Legged Cross with hybrid working). This is a hands-on role with real progression into senior leadership, offering exposure across operations, technical delivery, and commercial growth. They’ll be involved in everything from maintaining and installing radio systems and infrastructure, to supporting customers (long-term hire & events), managing projects, and helping scale the business as it aims to double in size over the next five years. Travel across the UK (including occasional overnight stays) is a key part of the role.

They’ll receive structured training and direct mentorship, with the goal of stepping into full operational management. It’s ideal for someone proactive, ability to self-manage, technically curious, and comfortable working both independently and with clients. You’ll also support wider business activities like digital sales, marketing outreach, and compliance projects.

A full UK driving licence is required, and an interest in radio comms or electronics would be an advantage, although not essential.
