What if it rains on your wedding day? 🌧️

Well… it’s the UK. Rain is always a possibility whatever the season. But there’s no need to panic.

I always tell my couples these three things:

✨ Chat through a weather-proof plan with your venue. Can group photos be moved indoors if needed?

✨ I’ve got you covered with clear umbrellas for couples’ portraits. Sometimes the best photos happen when we embrace the elements for a few minutes and if the rain stops, we can head back outside later.

✨ Build flexibility into your timeline. We may need to move things around depending on the forecast, and having that extra breathing room makes all the difference. B&L’s confetti photos were actually taken at 6pm after the rain had cleared… and would you ever know? 💁🏼‍♀️

So, what if it rains? We make it work and your day will still be beautiful 🖤

Lucy & Kieran (& Mylo 🐶)

We had a scorcher of a day for these two at The Pumping House Exclusive Wedding Venue on Thursday ☀️ And what a truly beautiful wedding it was.

So many gorgeous little details throughout the day - Lucy, your vision came to life and you absolutely nailed it. Simply stunning 😍

And of course, we can’t forget Mylo, who was the best boy all day and absolutely smashed his very important role as ring bearer 🥹🐾

Think pastel tones, different coloured bridesmaid dresses, a wedding venue in the Yorkshire dales, some insanely beautiful florals & my all time favourite touch - hand made personalised napkins made by the stunning bride herself 😍 (yes, she really did stitch everyone’s name on!)

We all love a bit of golden hour but it’s not always guaranteed - for Sammie & Ross’ day we embraced a bit of blue hour instead & I’m obsessed with the calming tones & colours it gave us. This is why I like to add a little bit of extra time into your timeline to grab some additional couples pics & embrace the changing light.
