If you’re looking for your next local date night spot then here it is..
I recently had the pleasure of collaborating on a branding session for Proper Gander restaurant in Tywyn.
I also had the privilege of tasting each of these beautiful dishes - they truly taste as good as they look.
Here’s a little information on what you’re seeing…
Blue Lagoon cocktail – fresh, citrusy and vibrant
Espresso Martini – smooth, rich and perfectly balanced
Korean Fried Chicken- twice fried for crispness and coated in a fermented gochujang glaze. Served with pickled cucumber and finished with toasted sesame.
Chorizo Croquettes, smoked paprika béchamel, shaped and fried until golden. Served with romesco, pickled shallots, and finished with grated Parmesan.
Caramelised Goat’s Cheese served with ripe peach, pistachio, and dressed leaves for a balance of sweetness and acidity.
Spiced Lamb Koftas grilled over high heat. Served with mint yoghurt, shaved fennel, and finished with sumac.
Roast Lamb Rump with potato pavé, peas, and charred spring onion. Finished with whipped honey feta and a rich jus.
Risotto slowly cooked with sun-dried tomato and charred aubergine, finished with Parmesan for a smooth, rich texture.
Gressingham Duck Leg with crisp skin. Served with chicory, fennel, and white beans, finished with peach and a smoked vinaigrette.
Basque Cheesecake baked until caramelised with a soft centre. Served with salted caramel and a strawberry compote. Lightly coated in a homemade vanilla and cinnamon sugar.
Sticky Toffee Pudding soaked in toffee sauce. Served with caramelised banana and crème fraîche & strawberry garnish.
Dark Chocolate Fondant with a molten centre. Served with vanilla ice cream and finished with a chocolate & pistachio crumble.
