This family didn't think they'd get "THE" photo!
When they arrived, their toddler wanted absolutely nothing to do with photos. There were snack breaks, little walks, cuddles, a few tears, and lots of running around. Mum kept apologising, convinced we probably hadn’t captured anything good.
But somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, there was this tiny moment, and it became their favourite image from the entire session.
The best family photos rarely come from everyone sitting perfectly still and smiling at the camera. They come from connection, comfort, movement, and real moments together.

Nobody speaks about the newborn stage enough...
The exhaustion. The feeding around the clock. The feeling that time is somehow moving painfully slowly and unbelievably fast at the same time. But also… the tiny stretches. The sleepy cuddles. The way they fit perfectly on your chest. The little noises you already know you’ll miss one day.
As a newborn photographer, I meet so many parents who worry they look tired or feel overwhelmed — and honestly? That’s normal. You don’t need to have everything together for this stage to be beautiful.
Your baby won’t remember whether your hair was tidy or whether you’d slept properly. They’ll grow up seeing the love that surrounded them. And that matters most

SAVE THIS for the summer holidays.
Here are 5 boredom-buster ideas that actually keep kids entertained longer than 7 minutes:
1. Freeze small toys in ice for “rescue missions”
2. Make snack plates instead of full meals
3. Water painting on fences/patios
4. Indoor picnic nights
5. Toy rotation (hide half the toys for a week)
Simple = usually works best.
