"Aa'isha was a treat to work with during our walima celebrations earlier this year.
Our nikkah had taken place 6 months earlier and four celebrations later, we'd both woken up struggling to find the energy for this last event, so, not exactly the easiest clients to make shine.
Fortunately (or miraculously?!), through her incredible skills, Aa'isha managed to capture us at our best and we now look back at some of our favourite photos from a half year of weddings. They're beautifully framed and lightly edited to create a consistent feel without distorting reality.
We'd asked to try and photograph our guests in more intimate scenarios as opposed to strictly staged poses - she was able to seamlessly navigate through the tables and get some really cool shots that showcased some of the emotions and conversations taking place.
With our own photos, we were battling chilly January weather, some heavy wind and a light drizzle. Aa'isha was patient, provided great direction and got lots done in a short amount of time so we could retreat back to the warm safety of our venue.
Communication throughout the process has been great, she turned around finished photos really quickly and we're thrilled with the overall outcome.
