Here's the 2nd one. I move a bit between the shots to change the composition a bit but I'm not sure which I prefer.
This time it's a 4min exposure which gives a bit more drama to the clouds sweeping across the skies.

The first of 2 with the particular tree and a 2 minute exposure was used to capture the movement in the clouds.
I said at the time of taking it, I thought that Black and White feels like it suits the scene and it does.
It cleans it up, makes it less complicated, especially as there was a lot of blue in the sky towards the horizon and the tree, which is the subject, stands out nicely against the clouds too.

Cotter Force is a very easy to get to just a 1/4 mile flat walk from the road, and is accessible by wheelchair.
It was early afternoon at this point and we had actual sun 🌞 so the light was a bit harsh but that really bought out the greens.
I'm not sure how to get to the bridge that runs over the top though.

Ribblehead Viaduct on an overcast day is a difficult subject but at least I managed to get a train going over it for a bit of added interest. It's a shame it wasn't a steam train though.

I've finally got around to editing a few more images from our trip to the Yorkshire Dales. This was taken on the path from Bolton Abbey to the Strid and I just loved the colour and reflections in this scene.

The Far Away Tree.

We wandered around this little tree for a while looking at different compositions. I wasn't that happy with the ones I got but as we walked away the tree became separated from any background and stood out against the blue sky.

It just goes to show that it's worth looking back because you may just miss a good shot.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Reading rooms.
You have done a wonderful job of converting this building into a stunning, well equipped holiday home that's been finished to a very high standard.
We were spoiled by the weather but we won't forget having breakfast in the sunny garden, next to the babbling stream.
We did plenty of walking too and The Reading Rooms are well placed for walking parts of the Dales way, visiting the Wensleydale creamery (their Wensleydale Blue is top notch), or just relaxing in the garden.
