Good to see Brian Mathew, MP for Melksham & Devizes, at the beautiful and thought-provoking Erlestoke Prisoners Art Exhibition, which includes poetry and origami as well as paintings, at St Mary Devizes this afternoon. The exhibition is part of the Devizes Arts Festival Free Fringe, and is on again tomorrow from 11am till 2pm.

Today I was at my exhibition at St. Mary's all day, and was touched to talk to the people who gave up their time to come in about what they thought of the photographs and poetry. My favourite quote was this one:
'I feel happy and sad and lucky and moved, and it's made me feel like I belong.'
If you haven't been yet and would like to go, it's on up to and including Sunday, daily at 10am till 3pm, as well as on Friday evening from 6pm till 8pm.
