I love before and after comparisons because they let you guys see what I see before I even take a photo.
Sometimes a shot comes together on the editing board when I have a photo in front of me on the computer. But usually I have an idea in mind as soon as we see a location and how the dog will fit into it. This was one with a very clear idea from the start with the stone wall framing them, the light behind acting to highlight the silhouette of the ears, there was a lovely soft light falling on the face which we enhanced, and the different layers in the scene add a sense of depth.
The handler was standing right beside them as you can see by the lead which is our preferred way of shooting. Owners are a vital part of what we do, adding a sense of security and safety to their dogs because let’s be honest…it’s a unusual experience for most dog gs and most people 😂
If you’d like to shoot with us our mini sessions are only £40 and we hold them at set locations on set dates around the country with limited spaces at each.

Sunday 11th October - Antrim Castle Gardens, Antrim
Saturday 24th October - St Columb’s Park, L’derry
Sunday 25th October - Ormeau Park, Belfast
Sessions are priced at just £40 for each 20 minute shoot, and we can accommodate up to 2 dogs per session (with 2 handlers in attendance).
Families are more than welcome to join in and we love seeing owners in front of the camera, we have a long history of wedding and family photography in addition to pets so we’re right at home photographing people too.
