I could hear the grasshopper all the while I was in that part of the grounds and eventually decided to try and find it. I took the pic and knew it was gonna be a keeper but never did I think it would be like this. I've never managed anything close since.

Killaloo Woods

I'm an amateur nature photographer who spent weeks in Killaloe Woods trying to photograph kingfishers. When I couldn't find them, I shifted my focus. One day, I spotted what seemed to be a bumblebee, but it turned out to be a delicate husk. I placed it on a stump and captured a unique image. Since it's Northern Ireland, I had to touch up the photo—enhancing the colors, adjusting exposure, and reducing haze—to bring out its best.
