For the woman who built her business around school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Who started it during nap times, or in the evenings after everyone was in bed.
Who’d spent years putting everyone else first and finally decided it was her turn.
Or who had a career that looked good on paper but slowly stopped feeling like her.
You figured it out. You kept showing up. You built something real, from scratch, around a life that didn’t stop to make it easy.
Here’s what I see a lot. Women who have done all that, who are genuinely brilliant at what they do, yet showing up online with photos that don’t come close to reflecting it.
Not because they don’t care, it somehow got pushed to the bottom of the list. For many reasons; it felt indulgent, or premature or like vanity.
But your photos are often the first impression someone gets of you. Before they’ve read a word of what you’ve written or the wonderful reviews you have.
You’ve worked too hard for that first impression to see you short.
Tell me below, what made you take the leap to start your business? Every story I hear is different and I love hearing them all.
