Sarah and Will having an absolute belter of a day at Shottle Hall in Derbyshire on Friday ๐Ÿ’š

And what an absolute scorcher it wasโ€ฆ not that the weather slowed them or their guests down from enjoying the wedding to the absolute max!

As a wedding photographer who absolutely loves colour, Shottle Hall is one of my favourite venues to shoot at in Derbyshire - even with the ever lasting heatwaves of the summer thereโ€™s still so much greenery to enjoy!

To me being a wedding photographer is simply blending in as much as possible while documenting two people in love, celebrating with their friends and family. It really is that simple. But Iโ€™m not sure there is a way that Zoe, Merv and all of their guests could have made my job any easier than they did. Yesterday was one of those days where no matter what direction I pointed the camera there was joy to be seen.

Big congratulations to Lydia and David who tied the knot yesterday at The Kedleston Country House ! Apart from being so lovely themselves I felt so welcomed by all of their guests too, what a lovely bunch!

Something I want to do more of this year is share more photos of guests as I donโ€™t think I accurately represent on instagram just how many photos of guests I capture at weddings ๐Ÿ˜‚ and as much as people want nice pictures of themselves, they want photos of the ones they choose to spend their big day with too!!
