A weekly photographic challenge came up with self portraits for this week. I hate selfies and anxiety set in as the challenge approached. In an attempt to find an interesting and fun way to deal with it browsed the internet on my ipad. This gave me many ideas and I sat with a glass of cola thinking it all over. Then, realising that I was just putting off the inevitable I gave myself a stern talking to over a cuppa and an image emerged.

365 Project 2017. Day 74- image 1. Conishead Priory main building from the lawn.

365 Project 2017. Day 73- image 1. Barrow in Furness from afar. First try at blending three images into an extended panarama. Joints arent perfect but I think it lines up ok. Tried to keep the processing the same but the position of the sun made the colours on the left lighter than on the right and complicated things. I will have to try again with dedicated software.

365 Project 2017. Day 70- image 1. Composition. Made up from three photographs. This has been an idea in my mind for some time but I was unsure how to accomplish it. A couple of hours of experimentation and voila. A portal from the woods direct to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. I wish!

365 Project 2017. Day 69- image 1. Nothing like a well ordered workshop. Continuing my theme of still life I loved the organic chaos that has developed in this workshop over what is clearly several months. In composition I wanted to counter the right to left diagonals of the ladders which parallel the incoming light from above with the left to right of the blue pallet.

365 Project 2017. Day 68- image 1. Apple and pears. Having done a few low key shots lately I decided to go high key for this one. Had to tone it down a little to reduce glare on the left hand pear but happy with the overall effect.
