It is with much sadness that after ten years, our Camera Club has folded due to falling numbers and post pandemic.
We thank all our fellow camera clubs, judges, Harbour Arts Centre and members, for their support over the years.
Dalry Art Club have been given the club frames and backing board.
Dalry Sports Club are making use of our projector.
The Development Hub have been given our laptop, Photo printer and the remaining funds which have been gratefully recieved.
We have very much enjoyed our journey over the years and some of our members have found other clubs to join to further their skills.
Thank you.

Boab's Daunners, when you turn up a side street in Paisley late on and this is 50 yards away swaying in the wind it is not until you get up close and see it is just balloons.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, the weather oan Thursday put paid to any ideas of a competition with only a few hardy souls turning up. So we had a wee discussion and editing night on the images. Feel free to peruse some of the images here, if you want to see the full entry I would assume another night will be on the cards.

Thursday we looked at the GDPU image that was submitted and judged, the idea was for our members to look at and judge these images, as Bob mentioned the members have become more critical of the images rather that just liking the images and the scoring by our members was not far off the judges scores, thank you to Harry Moules for stepping in and presented the evening in the absence of David Hood, also this was Harry's last night at the club as he and his wife are moving out of the area, so good luck with the move and hopefully you will carry on with your photography, thank you for the workshops that you have done over the period you have been a member, and the interesting and quirky images you have shared with the club. Below are some of the images Harry has done.

Thursday was our internal competition and the subject was Summer and our members submitted a wide range of images on this subject, well done to everyone but unfortunately there could only be one winner this week, so congratulations to Harry Moules with 1st place image titled Summer Shower, and well done to David Bell with 2nd place title Summer Love and Bob Wark with 3rd place and his aerial view of Penpont Church.
For a change we will be looking at some of the GDPU digital portfolio images at our next meeting on the 21st September and possibly judge them and see how we compare with the actual judge.
