It’s all in the shoot prep and kit tests, so today’s fun has been in setting up a prospective Guinness shoot, which will involve multiple focus stacking points, which is why I’ve bolted on my dedicated follow focus adaption kit, so I can alter minute changes in focus positions, the glass is being prepped with atomised glucose droplets to emulate a chilled glass exterior..

Interesting subject to photograph today, shiny objects are always a good stretch your lighting skills, as you need to control reflections in the product image while lighting your subject. To do this you have to shoot in a complete controlled lighting environment, with multiple lighting passes to obtain the best combined optimal image.
