It was back to the girls in the studio today as I welcomed this little poppet for her baby session. She was an absolute dream, quite literally dreaming whilst being posed. She also treated us to some lovely awake portraits, lots of sweet smiles and precious little details that change so quickly.

Mummy and daddy chose a lilac backdrop which looked perfect and compliments her delicate features. A joy to capture these early days for her family 🫶🏼

How beautiful is this mamma-to-be, expecting her little one at the end of the month 🤍 Neutral tones, bare feet, hands resting on bump whilst we talk about baby names and what the future holds!

A maternity session is about this tiny pause before everything changes, a moment to soak in your next chapter and document your body and its incredible ways of growing this tiny, precious baby. There is something so incredibly special about documenting that.

Today I welcomed baby Frederick into the studio, and what a gorgeous little boy he is. After some cluster feeding and a little time spent wide awake, Frederick eventually drifted off into a lovely deep sleep, allowing me to capture some truly precious sleepy portraits too.

Being just that little bit older than a typical newborn, his gallery has a wonderful mix of both alert and sleepy images. I love capturing those bright, curious expressions alongside those peaceful newborn poses. And despite being a little older, he was still beautifully scrunched up for his session!

I can’t wait for his family to see their gallery 🤍

Black & White shots 📸…

Today’s baby session with this little one, celebrating one month of earth side today. Although just past the ‘newborn’ sleepy stage, we captured the older newborn side today with facial expressions, alertness and curiosity. As a bonus we got some sleepy poses too! Baby sessions focus more on baby’s reactions, family portraits and close up details.
Reuben was great, he settled so well and allowed me to pose and capture him in pure white.

A joy as this was my first baby session after returning from Mat Leave!
