It was such a beautiful and emotional wedding, and an absolute joy to capture every special moment of their day. Although it rained for most of the day, as they say, rain on your wedding day is a sign of blessings. Friends from many different countries came together to celebrate with the couple, creating a wonderful international atmosphere. The Brazilian spirit was present all day long, especially on the dance floor, where the energy, music, and celebrations were truly unforgettable! 💃🇧🇷✨

VENUE SPOTLIGHT: St Tewdrics House ✨

From a wedding photographer’s perspective, St Tewdrics House is one of the strongest venues in South Wales for natural, relaxed coverage. The venue gives you a huge amount of variety without needing to move locations — elegant interiors, landscaped grounds, wildflower meadows and open countryside views all within a few minutes of each other.

The house photographs especially well in the morning thanks to the large windows and neutral interiors, while the outdoor ceremony space and gardens work perfectly for couple portraits later in the day. The courtyard is also a great backup in poor weather because it still gets plenty of natural light.

Another thing that stands out is the team behind the venue. The coordinators and staff are consistently organised, calm and genuinely helpful throughout the day, which makes a massive difference from a photographer’s point of view. A well-run wedding always creates a more relaxed atmosphere, and that comes through in the photos.

Overall, it’s a venue that looks great in every season and gives couples a gallery with plenty of variety without ever feeling overly staged.
