It's around 10pm on a Sunday night. Tens of thousands of people are massed into a park in central London. They've just shouted and danced along to a loud, fast, aggressive rendition of Kings Of Leon's The Bandit. "We're so glad you’re here and not at Glastonbury or wherever else you could be," d

A stone heart found on the beach...

At first glance, it seemed like a natural sculpture, smooth and whole. But as I removed the sand, its true nature began to emerge. Tiny cracks ran through its surface, delicate fissures like threads of forgotten memories. Weathered and worn, eroded by the relentless touch of the sea, while others were jagged, raw, as though the stone had been broken and healed, over and over again.

It resembled not the idealised notion of a heart, but the human heart - imperfect, scarred and yet undeniably resilient. Each crack told a story, each mark a testament to the passage of time and the forces of nature, both gentle and brutal. It wasn’t a heart of pure, unblemished love. It was a heart that had the weight of loss, the sharpness of pain and the quietness of healing.

Still, it endured. And perhaps, in its quiet imperfection, it embodied the truest form of love - one that is shaped not by ideals, but by the reality of being broken, mended and still, somehow whole ❤
