I loved the gorgeous Browne family for so many reasons but just one of these was that Niamh introduced me to this stunning location! It always makes my day when there is a wee connection with my families and where we do the shoot.

Miss Ella was something else.
A true little beauty with the sweetest nature to match.

We captured these photos ahead of her Communion day itself — which can actually be such a lovely option. Everything feels that little bit calmer, with more time to soak it all in and let the children relax into it naturally.

There was no rushing, no pressure — just lots of lovely little moments, soft light and Ella looking absolutely beautiful in her dress.

And if you love relaxed family photos like I do, a Communion session is such a lovely excuse to get everyone together for them. Those natural little interactions always end up meaning the most years later.

More from this stunning Confirmation shoot. Khloe was a natural in front of the camera and I just loved her gorgeous outfit!

I am midway through my busiest time of the whole year. May is completely fully booked and my next weekend availability starts in July so if you were planning a summer shoot, get in touch as soon as possible.

I am so grateful as always for your continued support and business x

Be honest… choosing what to wear can sometimes feel like the hardest part of the whole process.

It is often the thing that holds people back or makes everything feel a bit overwhelming before it has even begun.

But it does not need to be complicated.
Simple choices, soft tones, and starting with one outfit can make everything fall into place much more easily than you might expect.

Comfort, ease, and pieces that feel like you will always photograph beautifully.

This approach works just as well for newborn sessions at home as it does for outdoor family shoots.

If you are unsure, you can always send me what you are thinking. I am happy to guide you or share pieces from my client wardrobe for mums and little girls.

One of the things I love about communions and confirmations is that they give you (read Mums!) the perfect reason to update your family photos.

You even have that little “excuse” to get everyone on board, which we all know is sometimes the hardest part.

Everyone is already together, everyone is looking their best, and it just becomes a few relaxed moments in between it all.

If you love the more relaxed shoots like I do, you can still have that with a Confirmation or Communion

And those are always the photos you find yourself going back to again and again.

If you missed out on getting booked, one hack that I give to Mums is to plan it on a day separate to the big day....this way you can still get those confirmation or communion shots, but you could also take a change of clothes for the communion child and have a more casual shoot all at once! We actually did this ourselves as a family for two of the kids and it was fantastic.

It does mean dressing up again but it is the perfect excuse to plan a wee date night that evening and make the most of your lovely hair and make-up!

Excited to share this stunning commercial project with Hughes Kitchens.

There’s something special about walking into a space that has been thoughtfully designed, where everything has its place and purpose.

The team at Hughes Kitchen recently asked me to photograph this beautiful kitchen, capturing imagery for both their website and social media.

They aren't show room kitchens to photograph. They were real, lived-in spaces. Spaces where mornings begin, where conversations happen, where family life unfolds in the background of everyday moments.

My focus for this project was to keep everything feeling natural and true to how the space is experienced. Soft light, clean lines, and a sense of calm that allows the design to speak for itself. Creating a bank of images that feels consistent, elevated, and ready to be used across their online platforms.

It’s always about more than just documenting a space. It’s about helping a brand show what it feels like to be there.

If you’re a business looking to refresh your imagery for your website or social media, and want something that feels considered and aligned with your brand, just send me a message.

My winter outdoor sessions were some of my favourites this year.

Little hands reaching for leaves. Families wandering country lanes. Real laughter, real connection, real moments.

No posing. No pressure. Just your family being yourselves while I capture the in-between magic.

And because they worked so well, I am bringing them back for summer.

I am opening a handful of outdoor family sessions for July and August.

That smile. Those freckles. The light catching her just right.

Confirmation is such a special milestone — and these photographs will be looked back on for years to come.

My outdoor sessions are relaxed and natural, giving children space to feel comfortable and be themselves. No stiff poses, just real smiles and beautiful light.

I am almost fully booked for Confirmations and Communions this season, so if you have been meaning to get in touch, now is the time.

Based between Newry and Dundalk, I photograph families across South Armagh, Castleblayney, Monaghan and Armagh.

I cannot wait to share more from this shoot 🤍

5 Things to Know About Newborn Shoots with Toddlers

1. They will not sit still. That is completely fine.

I am not expecting a perfectly posed family portrait. I am expecting wiggles, wandering, and probably snacks.

2. Bribery is welcome.

Cheerios, raisins, the promise of something after — whatever works. No judgement here.

3. The chaos makes the best photos.

The giggles, the belly laughs on dad's back, the messy in-between moments — that is the real stuff.

4. We work around their mood, not against it.

If they need a break, we take a break. If they want to play, we let them play. The session moves at their pace.

5. You do not need to worry.

I have done this many times. Toddlers are unpredictable and that is exactly why I love photographing them.

My newborn sessions are relaxed, baby-led and always have space for siblings to be part of the story — however they want to show up.

Based in South Armagh, I photograph families from Newry, Dundalk, Castleblayney and beyond.
