With more USA couples choosing Scotland's Outer Hebrides for meaningful, off-the-grid elopements, Callanish remains a timeless favorite: a 5,000-year-old stone circle bathed in golden light, perfect for intimate sunset ceremonies.

Some loves cross oceans and time zones to find their forever in ancient stone. Leah and Gerald traveled from the warm hills and open skies of Tennessee to the wild heart of Lewis, bringing their story to the Callanish Standing Stones for a Scotland elopement from the USA.

Hii. Pouring all my energy into my website at the moment. Updating galleries, rewriting copy, exploring new ways of reaching my dream couples… 🫶 Spring is just around the corner and with it the energy to put some dreams into action. After a quieter spell since having my daughter I feel my capacity growing and would love to shoot more elopements & intimate weddings this year. I made this short film of the artist Susie Monnington from our time together on the Isle of Berneray. Susie makes beautiful evocative abstract paintings inspired her Outer Hebridean beach wandering. I also did a series of photographs from our session together, making the most of the magical sunrise light. I so love capturing women artists in the settings that inspire them and combining both my passions of photo & filmmaking. 💫 Thank you Susie for reaching out, it was wonderful connecting with you! 🫶

Little by little I’ve been tending to my website. I sit with my laptop by the fire, typing one handed while breastfeeding my toddler, and sneak in longer sessions while she naps. There’s new visual stories, updated guides and pricing pages. Still plenty more to do but it’s a start!

My first story is one of my favourite Isle of Harris elopements from the summer. A standing stone ceremony, lush wild flowers and epic waves - what’s more to love?

We woke up to a blanket of snow this morning! ❄️ Not that common in the Outer Hebrides. ✨ Looking forward to going out to play. Just a wee reminder that my winter discount for elopements & wee weddings will still be running until March.

A West Beach proposal on the Isle of Berneray. 🫶 Groom-to-be Taz planned a secret getaway for his future wife Ranya to the stunning Outer Hebrides, with a sunset walk along these shores as the grand finale. 💫 It was so amazing to be there (undercover) to capture this moment for them. 🥰
