Blending a family isn’t always smooth.
It’s messy, emotional, chaotic… and sometimes incredibly beautiful.

This one’s honest. No filters. No pretending it’s easy.

Just real life, real feelings, and everything that comes with choosing a life that doesn’t fit into neat little boxes.

If you’re part of a blended family — this one’s for you 💛

Its been a hot minute since I wrote anything, but that will change this year. There will be a weekly blog and I am kicking it off with one of the most beautiful, tragic and epic films I have seen - EVER!

There was tears and everything last night! If you haven't seen it, you must go. It needs to be seen on the big screen but in the meantime, enjoy the new blog post and thank you for hanging on in there!

You guys are all amazing and your support has pushed me to do some fab stuff. Thank you all so much!

This is the next adventure alongside everything else of course!

Shatter the Silence has just launched its own Tik Tok channel and I would love it if you would come along and follow us. We will be looking at all sorts of things and focussing heavily on support, self care and looking after the people around us as well as ourselves.

Every like and share gets us one step closer to hopefully helping someone who really needs it so come with us on this exciting journey and help us Shatter the Silence around abuse 💜💜

Gonna have my two pence worth on this whole flag debate.

For those of you who are against it, take a step back and think. Whilst I fully understand the concern with the St Georges Cross and its unwanted connection to the likes of the EDL, this has nothing to do with why people are flying flags.

These are not your racist, fascist thugs and bullies.

These are your everyday people with families and jobs and a genuine, warranted concern about immigration and who we are letting into the country.

These are not people who don't believe in a multicultural Great Britain.
These are not people who don't agree with immigration when it is managed and controlled properly.
These are people who understand how much people from different cultures and backgrounds bring to the UK.

These are people who respect and embrace other peoples right to live to their belief structures on the understanding that if you are in the UK, you respect and live by the laws of the land, the same as we would be expected to if we were in their country.

These are mums and dads who are becoming frightened to send their kids into school for fear that someone is watching.
These are police officers who are unable to do anything until a crime is committed when they know that someone who has come in illegally is a threat to the local community.
These are families watching in utter horror and disbelief when a child ra**st is released by a judge because 'he comes from a different culture that doesn't understand that you can't r**e young girls.'

This is not about Britain First, EDL or anyone else.

This is about British citizens of all colours and cultures - many of whom are legal immigrants and have as much right to be here as anyone - defending their right to a country that is safe, a government that looks after its citizens first and a legal system that protects those who pay towards it, and not those who enter a country illegally.

These flags are a non violent protest. This is the only way that these people have to show they are concerned without it erupting into violence.
We all need the government that we pay our taxes to to do the right thing.

This is not about stopping anything.

Its about controlling it in a way that protects not just UK citizens of ALL cultures, but also protects those illegal immigrants who actually are genuinely in need of support and help.

I will be flying my Union Jack for all these reasons.

They are not racists.
They are not fascists.
They believe in a multicultural Great Britain done in the right way.

👩‍👦 As parents, we all want to trust our children—but what happens when their own friendship group becomes the danger? This is the story I never thought I’d have to share.

👉 Please share to raise awareness—cyberbullying can start far earlier than we realise.

How much privacy do we allow our children in a world that is as alluring as todays world is, but also as pernicious, deceptive, cunning and dangerous? At what point do we step in and invade that privacy and protect them not only from adults who want to hurt, influence or abuse them, but also the fri...

When we think about abuse, we often picture adult relationships. But teenagers are affected too—and the consequences can last a lifetime. Our latest blog, When Love Hurts, explores the hidden reality of abuse in teenage relationships and why awareness matters.
