The end of August is here which means the end of the school holidays and somehow my toddler is no longer a toddler. Excuse me while I cry into my camera. I’m back to work (hopefully a bit more this year) and working on some exciting projects! Looking forward to sharing it all with you!

Built in best friends. Forever by each other’s sides. Sharing a womb, sharing parents, sharing life. Someone who makes nap time a little less lonely and will help give mom and dad a few extra grey hairs…

I love slow sessions at a clients house. No rush, no fuss, just capturing you and your loved ones in a place that is comfortable and special to you ✨

A suprise trip to South Africa means I’m a bit slow on the social media front over the next few days. I will be doing some editing but this is often dependent on internet connection and quiet time ✨. I’m super excited to be working on a gorgeous project with the The White Butterfly Foundation and that will be taking place when I’m back in NI. In the meantime, if you are thinking of a photoshoot for you and your loved ones, please don’t hesitate to get hold of me!

“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” 🤍

Tiny fingers.
Sleepy cuddles.
The beginning of a lifetime of love.
There is something so beautifully ordinary about these early days, the quiet moments that, before you know it, become the memories you treasure most

There is a Japanese art form called Kintsugi, the practice of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold.
It doesn’t hide the cracks.
It honours them.
Every fracture becomes part of the story: Every break is transformed into something beautiful, not despite its damage, but because of it.
With pregnancy loss, it can sometimes be hard to look at the scars and remember but it’s so important to remember that it is part of your story. We should honor our scars and the stories of love and life they carry.

The quiet moments before the chaos.
The anticipation before the first cry.
The love that already exists before you’ve even met.

Maternity sessions are some of my favourites to photograph. They are part of that inbetween. Not here yet but already preparing and waiting in anticipation.
