Incredible line-up of guest speakers for a six day event THIS SEPTEMBER- celebrating all things Space, Astronomy & Astrophotography here in Scotland & the UK - organised by my pal & fellow astrophotographer Tom McCrorie. It’s going to be an absolute banger of an event!

I am so stoked to also have my work on display amongst other talented astrophotographers!

So I’ll give you all a laugh… my good friend & fellow astrophotographer John gave a lend of a scope for doing some solar imaging. Yesterday, I excitingly set it up… I spend TWO hours trying to find the Sun… I grew increasingly frustrated… the Sun was bang on in my Solar finder… why can’t I see anything…

Yep… this absolute sausage left the lens cap on 😂🤣 Rookie mistake but hey ho, at least I got a nice tan.

Stunning sky this evening after such a lovely day! 🌅

The stunning 61% Waxing Gibbous Moon, showing off those beautiful craters down the terminator line. Also - notice the colours captured.. these show the differences in surface composition. The more blue areas are rich in titanium, while the brown/ orange areas highlight iron-rich regions.

All captured on my wee SeeStar S50 Smart Telescope.

The Waxing Crescent Moon, captured last night with my Seestar S50 Smart Telescope.
