Let’s take a moment to honour the Father of the Bride… I don’t think Dads get enough credit for how emotional wedding days can be. ❤️

They spend years watching their little girl grow up, and then suddenly they’re standing here trying not to cry as they see her dressed as a Bride.

This was such a special moment to witness and exactly why I love photographing the in-between moments just as much as the big ones.

I won’t lie, there were some watery eyes behind the camera too. 🥹

Shannon & Mitch’s pre wedding shoot at this afternoon definitely kept us on our toes 😂

One minute we had gorgeous sunshine, the next we were hiding from a downpour and honestly the most ridiculous heat… Definitely one of those shoots where you feel like you’ve done a workout by the end of it.

Despite the weather chaos, Calke Abbey was absolutely stunning. The grounds there are unreal and everywhere you turn feels like a new backdrop. 🥰 We even came across a herd of deer, sheltering under a tree which was a real treat.

Like most couples, Shannon & Mitch arrived a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but by the end they were completely relaxed and just enjoying being together which is exactly what pre wedding shoots are all about ❤️
No awkward posing, just getting comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day
