Have you tried the Lazy Sundays market yet?

Loads of interesting stalls to explore, on the ground floor of what used to be the Litten Tree pub - now a community arts & creative space.

Sundays 12-4 - ‘summer vibe’ theme this week!

This is wifeys Serenity Space in Earlsdon - it’s a beautiful thing - you’d think you were in a little chapel with all its round stained glass windows! ::).

(Used to be a dry cleaners!).

Here’s a short slideshow film we’ve put together explaining the fascinating 122 year history of The Litten Tree Building - originally built as a Customer Reception & Showrooms for The Rover Company who had their huge factory to the rear.

If you’ve not heard of, or tried LTB yet, it’s a v. characterful art gallery & event space, spread over 4 floors above the litten tree pub in town. Evening events there really are a magical opportunity to explore around the building - and it’s all very relaxed, with its own bar up on the first floor.

We were just having a dig through the Historic England archive for Cov and found these interesting images of the big medieval vaulted basements under what today are the Halifax (no. 22 High St) and Coventry Building society (no. 21) buildings.

The largest (under the Halifax) extends right out underneath the pavement!
