Many people put a lot of pressure on themselves to keep their New Year's resolutions and goals at the start of the year. Big or small goals are both important. I believe the best thing to do, or what works for me, is to set a goal every week or every other week. For example, I'd like to schedule time to visit my grandparents, send a card to a long-distance friend, plan a weekend getaway, and enrol in a fitness class, to name a few.
