3 years ago I photographed Chris and Claudia’s engagement session and last week, had the absolute pleasure of capturing their wedding day 🥹🤍💐

They planned such a wonderful day with the ceremony held close by at St Maurice Church followed by their drinks and evening reception at Doxford Barn. Gorgeous floral arrangements, perfect weather and surrounded by their most important family and friends - who all joined in for the evenings’ Ceilidh chaos!

Congratulations both, thank you so much for having me 🥹

all shot on 35mm film for Alli + Will 💫

no words 😭 at the start of this year I bought a Nikon n80 film camera off eBay for £70 (wtf!) and since then have been testing it & testing it. It felt so alien using film again, even though it was because of film that I even got into photography. When I shot my first test roll, it evoked so many good memories and nostalgia of why I love being a photographer. Why I was drawn to it and knew that it was what I was meant to do / be. The craft of waiting for the exact moment it feels “right” before pressing the shutter and the unknown feeling it you captured it in time… and literally praying the photo comes out!? ahhhh i had the exact same feeling all over again with these photos…

I’m sooo beyond happy with these results 🥹💫

good job really…as I’ve bought 10 x rolls of portra 400 to do it all over again 👀 don’t google the cost it’s sickening hahaha

a summer proposal at Chatsworth 🌿💍

with an intimate fountain side picnic followed by frolicking around the rose garden, summer house and cascade house.

made even more special when mumma duck waddled over, bringing all her babies, to congratulate the happy couple (and get a peak at the ring!) 🦆🥹

Wonderful sneak peaks from daisy + john-marks ethereal outdoor wedding last weekend 🌸

I was sooo excited when Daisy & JM reached out last year because their wedding vision was so perfect and aligned with the way I approach weddings and my style: natural, candid, spontaneous moments and completely immersed in gorgeous nature / gardens. And in May too… just in time for the Azaleas in bloom 🥹

It was such a relaxing and visually beautiful wedding brought to life by the fun + playful energy of their guests, colourful outfits, a surprise magician creating the best candids and live cellists setting the mood 🎻

so grateful to of been part of their special day and to let my creativity for the photos run absolutely wild - I leaned more into the cinematic feel / 35mm film colours for their edit and couldn’t be happier with the results… also snapped some film photos I am estatic to get developed!!

Gorgeous proposal for Max and Monique, who flew over from Brisbane for a month long trip visiting Italy, Scotland, Liverpool and of course a surprise visit to the one and only Chatsworth House for this very moment 🥹✨

Such an honour to be part of their magical milestone, and can’t thank the team at Chatsworth enough for being unbelievably helpful in the lead up to and during the day. Max chose the emperor fountain spot for the proposal and it was so idyllic for making the moment intimate and peaceful, whilst still enjoying the view estate in the background ⛲️

Special thanks to Joules for helping me set up the picnic in the best spot and Iain for being our driver around the grounds and taking us to the most picturesque locations within the estate… Chatsworth is so so incredibly beautiful 🌳💐💍

Pre-wedding moments for Flora and Will this time last year 🫶

Always loveeee a pre-wedding shoot, especially when it’s shaped around you both and in one of your favourite places 🌺

For Flora and Will it was Kennington Park in London and honestly wow, such a magical place to photograph with pockets of light, huge trees and flowers nestled in corners of the space. I think there is a worry sometimes that a location for a photoshoot has to look or be a certain way to make it magical in photos but truly anywhere can work - you just gotta look for the magic and let the space guide you ✨

I only have availability for 2 more engagement shoots across June/July so if you are wanting some gorgeous photos together and up for frolicking out in this beautiful weather, pop me a DM 🥹💞
